Kathmandu today is facing serious challenges due to rapid and unplanned urbanization. Traffic congestion, poor public transportation, unmanaged waste, and rising pollution have made daily life difficult for its residents. Alongside this, the cost of living and housing has increased sharply, while employment opportunities have not grown at the same pace. These problems have pushed many young people to seek work abroad, weakening the city’s social and economic fabric. Muskan Poudel, who knows Kathmandu closely, is committed to planned urban development, effective waste management, job creation, and policies that make the city cleaner, more livable, and economically active.
At the national level, Nepal continues to struggle with a weak and import-dependent economy, widespread corruption, and the continuous outmigration of youth. Development remains uneven, with opportunities concentrated in a few areas while many regions are left behind. As an economist and social worker, Muskan Poudel is focused on strengthening domestic production, promoting small and medium enterprises, ensuring transparent and accountable governance, and creating meaningful opportunities within the country. His goal is to build a self-reliant, fair, and prosperous Nepal where citizens can live and work with dignity at home.
क्षेत्र नं. ४ भित्र भूमाफिया तथा अनियमितताका कारण कब्जा गरिएका सार्वजनिक सम्पत्तिहरू पुनः राष्ट्रको नाममा फिर्ता ल्याइनेछ। सार्वजनिक तथा गुठीका सम्पत्तिहरू व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थका लागि दुरुपयोग हुन नदिइ कडा कानुनी कारबाही गरिनेछ। यसले सुशासन, पारदर्शिता र राज्यप्रति नागरिकको विश्वास मजबुत बनाउनेछ।
क्षेत्र नं. ४ का सबै टोल र सडकहरूमा CCTV क्यामेरा जडान गरी चोरी, डकैती, गुण्डागर्दी तथा महिलामाथि हुने हिंसा र अन्य अपराधहरू नियन्त्रण गरिनेछ। अपराध गर्ने जो–कोहीलाई कानुनी कठघरामा ल्याइने प्रतिबद्धतासहित नागरिकलाई सुरक्षित र निडर वातावरण प्रदान गरिनेछ।
क्षेत्रका बाटो, सडक बत्ती र ढल व्यवस्थापनका समस्याहरूको तत्काल समाधान गरिनेछ। दीर्घकालीन योजना अनुसार सुरक्षित, व्यवस्थित र दिगो पूर्वाधार विकास गरी नागरिकको दैनिक जीवन सहज बनाइनेछ। यसले स्वास्थ्य, यातायात र शहरी सौन्दर्यमा समेत सुधार ल्याउनेछ।
शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य तथा सामाजिक सेवाका लागि २४ घण्टा सक्रिय रहने व्यवस्था गरिनेछ। क्षेत्र नं. ४ मा २४ घण्टा निःशुल्क एम्बुलेन्स सेवा सञ्चालन गरिनेछ भने यहाँका बिरामीहरूलाई स्थानीय अस्पतालहरूमा उपचार गर्दा विशेष छुटको व्यवस्था गरिनेछ। यसले गरिब तथा मध्यम वर्गका नागरिकलाई ठूलो राहत दिनेछ।
युवा तथा खेलाडीहरूलाई सम्मान, प्रोत्साहन र व्यवस्थित अवसर प्रदान गरिनेछ। महिला तथा घरेलु हिंसा अन्त्य गरी क्षेत्रलाई सुरक्षित र समावेशी बनाइनेछ। महिलाहरू र पुरुषहरूका लागि रोजगारीमूलक तालिमको व्यवस्था गरिनेछ भने ज्येष्ठ नागरिकका लागि निःशुल्क वृद्धभत्ता सुनिश्चित गरिनेछ।
